Business Need
Winstar was launching a new service designed to help meet the needs of small to medium sized businesses. Winstar wanted to provide this sector with a one-stop place to acquire all its business information and merchandise.
Project Overview
Our role was to first help plan the initiative with the Winstar system integrator, Cambridge Technology Partners. After the planning phase, we designed the specifications for the content management engine and helped select the underlying middleware - Vignette. After specifications were developed, we built and helped maintain the content engine as well as the commerce engine.
